Music is one of the biggest blessings to be showered upon mankind. It is a language which knows no barriers and can easily conveys various emotions which often, at times, cannot be put forward through the language of the mortals. I really admire all those who can play an instrument or sing and especially those who can play a musical instrument without any formal training. It is a blessing to master this art.
Music heals your soul and elevates the mind to a different zone. A zone, which is very rarely experienced by a mind, filled with the clutters’ and chaos of the modern world. It is an experience of rhythm which flows through the ears into the depths of your heart and transforms it into something special.
I feel, one undertakes a journey with the aid of music. Especially in my case, I have reached a stage wherein I have started to like and appreciate all forms of music – right from Hindustani (Indian) Classical songs of Pandit. Jitendra Abhisheki, Pandit. Bhismen Joshi, Pandit. Aarti Ankalikar Tikkekar, Pandit. Rahul Deshpande etc. to the Rock songs of Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, Jason Mraz, The Eagles etc . The most amazing aspect of these songs is the vast nature of human emotions, civilization essence, moods and periods of time that they capture.
When a musician conceptualizes’ or produces a song, he invariably captures an essence of humanity which reflects the soul of emotions that it carries.
Music, truly, is an art which has to be learned by every person to reap the benefits of the many magical things it can do; the most important of them all being – an avenue or channel to express the vastness of your heart, soul and mind to the world.
