2012 : The Greatest Gig?!

The stage is being set for something unprecedented. I was searching on the internet for an exhaustive list of all the natural disasters that have occurred in the year 2011. I did come across one but found the list very disturbing to be shared. I hope everyone aware of the earthquakes that rocked NZL, Japan,India etc along with the high magnitude of cyclones, heavy rains and typhoons on our planet.

Now consider this, only a small part of our earth, is the landmass we stay on. And of this landmass we only treat a few selected regions as worthy of our attention, whenever any news of a natural calamity hits our TV or computer screens. No one can imagine how many such calamities have struck in areas from where we seldom get any report especially the lands beneath the seas and oceans.

I recently heard somewhere that the increased frequencies in the rate at which natural disasters are occurring is because of the Polar Shift . Now this is yet to be confirmed by the scientist but let us actually focus on a more serious threat that is facing man kind – Global Warming. It is true my friends that unchecked use of natural resources have accelerated a deadly process which no one seems to be serious of reigning in.

Global warming is one just phenomena because of which not just the human race but all species of flora and fauna are suffering, for no fault of theirs. It is such a shame!

No one knows for sure whether 2012 will lead to the Greatest Gig. But till then, atleast as a response towards the love showered by Mother Nature upon us, we should be inclined to save her and in return ourselves, in which ever ways possible. Save electricity, fuel, paper, food, water, trees. Try to spread the message and accordingly inculcate certain positive actions in your lifestyle. May be, we might be able save our beautiful planet.

Remember – An effort made in right direction, big or small, never goes in vain. Hope you find encouragement realization in the above words.
