Eighty percent of success is showing up. -Woody Allen

It is very important to have a very ethical approach towards any work that you plan to execute. Many a times we show great enthusiasm when the project starts but after encountering a few hiccups, reluctantly give away on the much valued enthusiasm, which in turn adversely affects the project.

It is important to be totally committed to it. Try one step at a time to reach your goal. Be slow and steady but never, ever, take your eye of the ball. There will be days when you won’t accomplish anything but by merely showing up for the work to be done, you will have successfully managed to defeat your inner demons which, otherwise, would have played havoc with your mind.

Victory is not achieved in a single day. It is remarkable feat which happens when you go about with your work with ruthless dedication and determination. You have to take one step at a time if you are to reach the top of the ladder.

Seek inspiration in the immortal words of Martin Luther King Jr.: If “You can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”

Never believe in half-hearted efforts. If you want something, then make sincere efforts to get in but in the correct manner i.e. in righteous way. Never resort to wrong means to reach you goal.

Thus, success is a feeling which is achieved by being sincere and honest to the task at hand. These immortal words by Woody Allen –  “Eighty percent of success is showing up.” rightfully encompass an important aspect of being successful.
